Drawers and pop-ups

These sections float above the page. They sit in the Overlays area of the theme editor (at the bottom of the left sidebar) and show on every page.

Every size setting is listed with its full range or its choices and the default. A dagger (†) marks a setting that appears only after you choose a related option. “Other settings” lists the remaining options by their name in the theme editor.

Cart

Cart drawer

The side cart. It takes the same blocks as the cart page, so you can order and turn on the parts you need.

Blocks you can add

  • Free shipping progress block
    • Other settings: Style, Success message.
  • Cart items block
    • Image ratio: Adapt to image, Portrait, Tall, Square, Landscape, Wide (default Square).
    • Other settings: Show vendor, Show low stock, Low stock threshold.
  • Order note block
    • Other settings: Open by default, Maximum characters.
  • Gift options block
    • Other settings: Show gift wrap, Show message field, Message character limit, Show hide prices option, Name saved on the order: gift message, Name saved on the order: packing slip, Value saved on the order: packing slip.
  • Noshi (Japan) block
    • Other settings: Name saved on the order: noshi, Name saved on the order: name on noshi.
  • Delivery date (Japan) block
    • Other settings: Name saved on the order: delivery date, Name saved on the order: delivery time.
  • Subtotal block
    • Other settings: Show savings.
  • Terms agreement block
    • Other settings: Page.
  • Checkout button block
    • Other settings: Show total on button, Show payment icons.
  • Recommendations block
    • Other settings: Heading, Recommendation type, Number to show, Layout, Hide when already in cart, Product.
  • Trust points block
    • Other settings: Item 1 icon, Item 1 text, Item 2 icon, Item 2 text, Item 3 icon, Item 3 text, Layout.
  • Cart promotion block
    • Other settings: Image, Heading, Text, Link, Show when.

Cart notification

The small “Added to your cart” panel. It shows when the cart type is Pop-up, or when the drawer is set not to open after adding. It has no settings of its own.

Pop-ups and floating buttons

Pop-up

A newsletter signup or a notice that opens once at the moment you choose and remembers when a shopper closed it.

Ready-made versions when you add it: Newsletter popup, Notice popup.

Sizes and layout

  • Show after scrolling (%) †: 10 to 90 %, in steps of 10 (default 40).
  • Content width: Narrow, Normal, Wide (default Normal).

Other settings: Pop-up type, Image, Heading, Text, Discount code, Show code after signup, Signup consent note, Button label, Link, Trigger, Delay (seconds), Hide after closing (days), Audience, Show on, Layout, Image position, Show reopen button, Reopen button label, Pop-up motion, Start date and time, End date and time.

Age verification

For shops that sell to adults only: asks visitors to confirm their age before they use the shop.

Sizes and layout

  • Backdrop: Dim, Blur, Solid (default Blur).

Other settings: Heading, Text, Minimum age, Verification method, Confirm button label, Decline button label, When declined, Decline message, Decline link, Verify on, Restricted product tag, Remember for (days), Image, Pop-up motion.

Also has the standard section settings.

Floating sticker

A round sticker fixed to a corner of the screen with words running around its edge. A tap goes to the page it announces.

Other settings: Sticker text, Image, Shape, Link, Button position, Show on, Sticker motion.

Launcher

A small button at the edge of every page that opens a drawer of help links, offers or news.

Ready-made versions when you add it: Help launcher, Spotlight launcher, News launcher.

Other settings: Launcher type, Button label, Icon, Number to show, Button position, Show on, Combine with other launchers, Button motion, Blog.

Also has the standard section settings.

Blocks you can add

  • Question block
    • Other settings: Question, Answer.
  • Launcher link block
    • Other settings: Icon, Label, Link.
  • Offer block
    • Other settings: Icon, Heading, Text, Discount code, Link, End date and time.
  • Promo tile block
    • Column span †: 1, 2 (default 1).
    • Overlay opacity †: 0 to 80 %, in steps of 5 (default 20).
    • Tile size: Auto, Large, Tall, Wide (default Auto). Used by the Contents and bento grids. Tall fits a 9:16 video.
    • Other settings: Media type, Image, Video, Heading, Text, Link, Button label, Position in grid, Show more settings, Content position, Hide when filtered, Product, Collection, Article.
